CAINTA'S LENTEN FESTIVAL EARNS 1ST RUNNER-UP FINISH AT ATOP-DOT PEARL AWARDS

In the recently concluded ATOP-DOT Pearl Awards, Cainta’s 2022 Senakulo and Penitensya garnered an impressive 1st Runner Award for Best in Religious Festival. Despite Cainta’s centuries-old tradition of Senakulo and Penitensya, this is the first time that the Municipality of Cainta joined the competition.

The ATOP-DOT Pearl Awards was held last October 4 to 6 at Boracay Island.
The ATOP, or the Association of Tourism Officers of the Philippines, is an accredited organization of the Department of Tourism and is dedicated to promoting and advancing the tourism industry in the Philippines. It serves as a platform for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and advocacy among tourism practitioners across the country.
