Hon. Janice Gomez Tacsagon-Curia

ABC President / Ex-Officio Municipal Councilor

Hon. Janice Gomez Tacsagon-Curia has had a remarkably long and decorated tenure as the Punong Barangay (Barangay Chairwoman) of Barangay Sto. Domingo—one of the largest and most rapidly growing urban neighborhoods in Cainta, Rizal.

  • 2014–2018: First Term
Assumed office mid-term on March 24, 2014, succeeding the late Chairwoman Rufina Sulit. Her initial years focused on administrative continuity, neighborhood stability, and establishing local micro-livelihood workshops.

  • 2018–2023: Second Term
Secured her first full mandate via public election in May 2018. This extended term was heavily defined by spearheading grassroots pandemic health initiatives, localized food relief distributions, and community safety collaborations.

  • 2023–Present: Third Term
Re-elected during the October 2023 Barangay Elections. This current term marks her highest administrative milestones, leading her community to pass the National Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLGB) and claiming provincial awards for justice mediation.
