INTERTOWN RECYCLED CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING
Tonight became the night of lights in the Liwasang Bayan ng Cainta, with the opening and lighting of the Recycled Christmas Tree. It was led by Gov. Nina Ynares and Mayor Elen Nieto. Board Members of Rizal Province, Brgy. Captains, Councilors, Dept Heads and Municipal employees also join and witness the event.
The concept and creation of the Christmas Tree were facilitated by the Tourism Department. The materials used to build the Christmas Tree were from Mayor Elen's MRF, pet bottles of mineral water and soft drinks, old Christmas tree frames that were recycled and enlarged, and Buli leaves (used to make suman).
