CAINTA NAMED THE MOST COMPETITIVE MUNICIPALITY IN THE PHILIPPINES

The Municipality of Cainta once again was named as the Most Competitive Municipality in the Philippines during the recently concluded 2023 Cities and Municipalities Competitiveness Index Awarding ceremony held at the Manila Hotel.

Aside from being the Most Competitive Municipality, Cainta has also ranked 1st Place in Economic Dynamism, 3rd Place in Infrastructure and 2nd Place in Intellectual Property Filing.

The Cities and Municipalities Competitiveness Index is an annual ranking of Philippine Cities and Municipalities developed by the National Competitiveness Council through the Regional Competitiveness Committees (RCCs) with the assistance of the United States Agency for International Development.
The overall competitiveness score is the sum of scores on five main pillars, which are economic dynamism, government efficiency, infrastructure, resiliency, and innovation. Scores are determined by the values of the actual data, as well as the completeness of the submitted data. The higher the score of a city or municipality, the more competitive it is.
Previously, the Municipality of Cainta was named the Over-All Most Competitive Municipality in 2016, 2017, 2019, 2020 and 2021.
