ONE CAINTA COLLEGE RESUMES COMMENCEMENT EXERCISES
Last August 8, 2023, the One Cainta College resumed its graduation rites for its 317 students, the 3rd face-to-face graduation ceremony since it opened in 2018. During the pandemic, for the years 2020, 2021 and 2022, the One Cainta College proceeded with its commencement exercise, albeit online.
For this Class of 2023, a total of 317 students were present for the ceremony held at the Cainta Elementary School (CES) Auditorium. For the College, the entire faculty and college officials headed by College Administrator Dr. Victoria C. Naval, together with all the members of the Board of Directors, headed by Municipal Administrator and Former Mayor Johnielle Keith P Nieto, were in attendance. The commencement address was given by Cainta Mayor Atty. Elen D. Nieto, who provided guidance for the Class of 2023 as they move forward into their chosen careers. Her speech highlighted 7 pieces of advice that the Class of 2023 should heed as they head on, with her final advice being “Learning the power and value of time”.
Worthy of note is that their were eight (8) graduates, all females, who were conferred latin honors, Cum Laude, in their respective courses. In sum, there were 154 graduates of B.S. Entrepreneurship, 81 graduates of B.S. Information Systems, 32 graduates of Technical-Vocational Teacher Education (BTVED).
For the 2-year Diploma course, there were 28 graduates of Office Management Technology, and 22 graduates of Information & Communication Technology.
