SAMAHANG NAZARENO STAGES COMEBACK AT THE PASINAYA 2023

The Cultural Center of the Philippines opened PASINAYA 2023 after a 3- year hiatus and Cainta’s premier Panata group, Samahang Nazareno Inc. is a featured performer. The PASINAYA 2023 is an Open House Arts Festival, the largest annual multi-arts festival in the Philippines.
The Samahang Nazareno Inc. is a Lenten cultural group founded in 1960 in the barrios of Cainta. The group, a foremost cultural and religious theatrical institution, has been acting and re-enacting the passion, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ since it was founded and has perpetuated itself and its performance artistry every Lenten season. It was only during the pandemic, for three (3) years, that its performances were temporarily halted.
​After 3 years, the Samahang Nazareno is more than ready to lift its curtains and resume its performance; and what better way to stage a comeback than performing at the Cultural Center of the Philippines’ Pasinaya 2023.
